According to the designer Maison Mimi “The name “Dark Forest” came from a song I replayed during the entire design process; Night Sky – Roses Gabor (UK). The concept introduced the mesh add-ons on some pieces, to give it that edge. Roses is an electro-soul singer, so the coarse auto tune noise represents the fabric’s print and the song as the mesh, black like the nights sky.”
