Even if you haven't seen a single line or wrinkle yet doesn't mean you shouldn't be concerned about aging skin. The best defense against the aging process is to slow it down before any visible damage is done.
WEAR SUNSCREEN EVERY SINGLE DAY
No matter how cold, cloudy or rainy it is outside, don't skip your sunscreen. Use a sunscreen or moisturizer with SPF and don't leave home without it.
STOP SMOKING RIGHT NOW
You already know the health risks of smoking. If you still haven't stopped, you should know that smoking also causes skin damage and wrinkles. Nicotine can decreases the oxygen flow to the skin, leaving it damaged, dry and wrinkled.
EXFOLIATE ONCE A WEEK
If you have normal, combination or oily skin, look for exfoliating products containing alpha hydroxy acids such as salicylic or glycolic acid. Exfoliate once a week to slough away dead skin cells and encourage collagen production. If you have sensitive or extremely dry skin, exfoliate every other week and look for products especially formulated for your skin type.
USE AN EYE CREAM
Even if you don't have any signs of crows' feet yet doesn't mean they won't creep up on you. The thin skin around the eyes is one of the first spots to show the signs of agin. Protect and hydrate the area with an eye cream containing SPF, antioxidants and other nourishing ingredients.
