Nigerian designer Ade Bakare, whose collections are known for their classic twists with a modern touch, has released the look book photos for his Summer 2013 collection which is being tagged “Sahara Collection”.
The “Sahara Collection” is a burst of colours, prints, sequins and embellishments with unique designs. The Designer makes use of burnt oranges, golden yellows and deep sapphires as well as one of spring’s hottest trends, monochrome.

The designer says, "Inspiration is taken from bright vivid African hues, the trapeze silhouette inspired from Yves Saint Laurent, combined with bulky African jewelry, clutch bags and turbans. Ensembles include; coat and dresses in various light weight fabrics such as organza, satin organdies and gazar, combined with laces, chiffons and taffeta.
