Mr Garbe is a UK based T-shirt Label established in 2012 and the brands aesthetics is solely based on African history and modern African Culture. The aim of the brand is to inspire change and influence the current African generation to make it better for the upcoming generation.
The debut collection is a range of shirts with sketches of African icons such as Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, Wole Soyinka, Chinua Achebe, Ken Saro Wiwa, Odumegwu Ojukwu and more on them. There is also a collection video included where the creative director Bella Adeleke talks about her inspiration for the Mr Garbe line.
