Democracy Series for Participatory Learning and Action by Youth (DESPLAY)
Youngstars Foundation with support from the National Endowment for Democracy NED – USA, presents the 9th edition of DESPLAY, 2014. DESPLAY is the most consistent and longest running annual youth democracy training program in Nigeria/West Africa designed to widen young people’s democracy education and foster active youth participation in good governance processes.
What DESPLAY Season 9 Offers:
Admission slots for ONLY 35 young people within Africa (especially from West and Central African Countries).
* Three (3) Semesters/Workshops of 4 days each in Nigeria.
* About 30 knowledge based sessions and focus group discussions and activities.
* Obtain a youth democracy engagement toolkit (Video and Handbook – FREE)
* 10 day learning visit to a Southern African country practicing democracy.
* Get a chance to run for Office of President of DESPLAY Republic Season 9
* Opportunity to meet and network with young democrats around the Africa.
* Opportunity to challenge and improve your personal leadership influence and impact among others.
* No one completes the DESPLAY program and remains the same.
