The Funeral and unveiling of the 30ft statue of Nelson Mandela in South Africa

30-Feet Nelson Mandela Bronze Statue
An amazing 30ft bronze statue of Nelson Mandela was unveiled yesterday in Pretoria

Yesterday in Pretoria, a 30ft bronze statue of Nelson Mandela was unveiled by the South Africanpresident, Jacob Zuma at the Union Buildings in front of the press, guests and dignitaries who attended the unveiling. The magnificent statue shows MADIBA smiling with his hands open as if he wanted to hug someone and it was perfectly sculptured. This amazing unveiling comes a day after he was laid to rest in his hometown in Qunu. So many dignitaries attended the event to pay their final respects to MADIBA and it was a truly moving farewell with tears, joy, and love all together in one environment. Charles, Prince of Wales, Oprah Winfrey, Richard Branson, Idris Elba, Desmond Tutu, Joyce Banda and a host of others were spotted at the ceremony. Below are a few shots we scooped online.
