Phyllis Taylor is a Ghanaian and UK based fashion designer. The 34year old is the CEO of Sika Designs, a fashion store she started in 2006 with outlets in Ghana &United Kingdom. According to her, she loves the colorful prints in West African clothing and dreamed of seeing them used with a modern twist & style.
Ms Taylor studied music and performing arts before taking courses in dressmaking and pattern-cutting at the London College of Fashion.
While producing a stylish and wearable range, Sika creatively collaborates exceptional West African textiles with the trend and styles of London’s urban chic. She has won many awards and her designs have been featured on various catwalk shows in Africa, UK & USA.
