The annual women's mentoring walk will take place on the 7th of November, 2012 in 18 countries. This series of “Global Women’s Mentoring Walks,” builds upon the success of mentoring walk organized in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Argentina, Peru, Egypt, Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Swaziland, Ecuador, Indonesia, Bolivia, El Salvador and Serbia in 2008 - 2011 respectively.
In Nigeria, each walk is organized across seven locations in Lagos, Delta, Bayelsa, Nassarawa, three locations in Enugu, Anambra, Imo, Oyo, Abia, Ogun and two locations in Akwa Ibom State.
