Nigeria at 52: Diamond in the rough.

I have only been around for about half of time since our great country got its independence, and in that time, I've experienced different emotions, had various opinions and even felt a bit angered by some of the issues that seem to be constantly trying to derail us from the path of progress.

However, In all this time, i have never failed to believe that eventually Nigeria & Nigerians will get it right, that we would all work together at a team despite our differences ; be it religion, tribe, social status etc... Something Great can and will come out of Nigeria.

So as we celebrate this new year, even though we are facing turbulent times, there is still hope for a better future, And with each passing day, as we all join hands and work together, we can achieve this dream that seems almost impossible and STAND firm and Strong, forging ahead to nurture our country to great & sustainable heights.

To have safe & secure environments, platforms and  opportunities for our youth, excellent education for the children, facilities that will support our growth, infrastructures that will encourage indigenous production and create jobs for our graduates.

It will take time, but it can be done.
Persistence, Hard work, Honesty and transparency are some of the tools that can pave a way for us.
Let us all contribute our quota in building Nigeria to attend its rightful place as the GIANTS of Africa.

Cheers to a great Nation!
One Love.
