A fast rising Nigerian actress, well known for her role as ‘Sisi Caro‘, in a popular situational comedy show, ‘Face2Face‘, has been reported dead.
Cassandra Gabriel, who was a regular face on the comedy programme passed away recently due to complications from an illness suspected to be cancer.
Though details are yet to be confirmed at the time of reporting, the Edo State born actress had apparently been ill for a while, prompting get well messages by friends on her Facebook page after she had updated her status with ‘God is my strength‘ on April 6, 2012. Details, which are sketchy at the moment, will be published as soon as soon as they are confirmed.
Cassandra Gabriel played the argumentative but fun loving ‘Sisi Caro’ in the popular comedy series that chronicled life among tenants in what is generally referred to as ‘Face2Face’ apartment. The programme also starred the like of Sunday Omobolanle popularly known as Aluwe, Victor Osuagwu, Jude Orhorha among others.
