Gay Lecturer In Soup For Toasting Male Student

Ok, I read this and I felt all kinds of uncomfortable, why seduce your student? Read the full story below.
A lecturer in the department of Public Administration of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Dr. Gambo Abdul has been arrested for allegedly seducing a male student Abubakar Abdulkareem to be his gay partner.
The student Abubakar had severally rebuffed the advances of the lecturer who wanted him to be his gay partner but became agitated when the lecturer threatened to fail him if he refused to succumb.
It was gathered that based on the threat from the lecturer who is from Minna, that Abubakar reported the case to his parents about the move by the lecturer and the inherent threat to his academic pursuit.
Consequently, it was learnt that the family of the student decided to investigate further and later found out that their son’s claim was true.
It was further gathered that the student was instructed to play along last weekend when the said lecturer invited Abubakar into one of the suites in an hotel located at eastern bye pass Minna.
It was learnt that when the boy met the lecturer at the hotel the lecturer wanted to make advances to him, without knowing that police officers were stationed within the area. The lecturer was apprehended and taken to Chanchaga police division.

Chris Brown vs Raz B; Breezy may sue over 'Boy Life' comment

Chris Brown
Breezy has hinted he will sue R 'N' B singer Raz B for suggesting he is gay.
The 22-year-old performer took to his twitter page to refute claims from the former B2K member in his memoir titled 'The Boy's Life'.
He tweeted: "Lying about somebody in a book is called defamation of character. Keep feeding people bulls**t and ima end up owning you and that book! RAZ B! God bless... My lawyers are handling it! Lol ima chill!"
Chris later deleted the statement as he waits to take legal action after the publishing of several alleged stories.
The book says about the 'One More Time' singer: "I've never had issues with substances; even when I was at my lowest. I always thank God I never had a serious addiction like the Weezy's [Lil Wayne] and the Breezy's [Chris Brown].
"What type of man hits a woman? A man that does not honour womanhood or the fragility of it. I also read that most men who beat women have latent homosexual tendencies. So there you go.
"They say you never know who knows who. Chris Brown didn't think about that when he attacked me online. I have a friend that's very close to Chris' camp who told me that Chris was involved with an up and coming songwriter Andre Merritt. So when Chris started going in calling people 'gay' and 'fags' I just dropped Andre Merritt's name. I knew it was true when he decided to shut up."

Ice Prince
Nigerian rapper Panshak Zamani popularly known as Ice Prince has finally admitted to being a father – two months after the story broke back in March 2012.
The Chocolate City rapper disclosed this while speaking to Vanessa Offiong of Nigerian newspaper Weekly Trust’s Weekend Magazine in an interview published over the weekend.
When asked what the experience was like about being a ‘new dad’ and how it was fitting that into his schedule, he responded: ‘Yes I am. I have a strong team around me and we are able to schedule our events properly. This gives me time to take care of all the things that I need to take care of’.
On March 1, 2012, 20-year-old former Houdegbe North American University undergraduate Bimbo Babatunde delivered a baby boy (since named Toluwalase) for Ice Prince.
The rapper had before now, repeatedly denied he’s the father of Bimbo’s child. The baby was born in March 1, 2012.
Ice Prince was recently nominated for the 2012 BET Awards in the ‘Best International Act: Africa’ category, alongside compatriot Wizkid.

Lagos State Doctors: Oya State Doctors threaten to strike too.

The stand-off between Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola and the state doctors like dough with yeast is spreading. Medical doctors in Oyo State have announced plans to embark on a strike in solidarity with their Lagos colleagues who were sacked by the Lagos State government. The Oyo doctors demand that their sacked colleagues be reinstated.
The Guardian reports that at a media briefing held at the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) House in Yemetu, the doctors criticized Fashola’s actions against the doctors, which they described as “hasty, insensitive, and thoughtless.” The Oyo doctors said in a statement: “This struggle must be taken beyond the realm of a mere administrative strike, they must engage the state government in direct social struggle. This will mean a mass campaign among (sic) the masses of Lagos through educative materials and mass rallies.” They further urged Lagosians to rise up to the challenge and not leave the ‘battle for the NMA alone’. According to the association, Lagos residents must link the struggle with a call for massive improvement in health facilities in the state.
The Oyo state NMA Chairperson, Prof. Millicent Obajimi led the briefing which was also attended by the association’s secretary, Dr. Happy Adedapo and publicity secretary, Dr. Jeremiah Simire.
In a separate statement to the media, NMA Abuja chapter condemned the ‘politicisation’ of the Lagos State government and doctors’ industrial dispute, especially by ‘elders’ of the state. At the weekend in Abuja, President of NMA Abuja, Dr. Nicholas Baamlong, said that the “non-interference and insensitivity of respected individuals or groups” has made resolution of the lingering dispute more cumbersome.
Dr. Baamlong said that statements credited to the national publicity secretary of the Action Congress of Nigeria, Lai Mohammed in which where he accused the Lagos doctors of flouting industrial laws by embarking on strike, was “a doubtful sincerity of purpose and integrity of a political jobber.” The NMA Abuja president expressed concern that the state government had remained “consistently adamant and unperturbed” by increasing deaths and sicknesses elicited by the crisis.
But not all are in support of these new threats to the living standards and health of the Lagos people. The Lagos League of Political Parties (LLPP) has cautioned the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) for their threat to go on a solidarity strike over the sacked Lagos doctors. The Chairman of LLPP, Udoka Udeogaranya, said while the group encouraged all civilised vehicles of reinstating the sacked doctors “if their employer still wanted their services”, it condemned foreign unions’ attempts to interfere in issues not connected to them.
Baamlong lamented the “graveyard silence of the Lagos State House of Assembly, the traditional institution, leaders of thought and some critically placed individuals over this negligence to ensure the health and safety of Lagosians.”

The much awaited and publicized biography of the richest black man in the world, Aliko Mohammad Dangote co-authored by Dr. Moshood Fayemiwo and Dr. Margie Marie Neal is ready and would be on sale through E-Book anytime soon. The authors spoke with this female journalist from their base in Chicago, USA.

QUESTION-Is the biography authorized or unauthorized? Why Dangote?

MOSHOOD FAYEMIWO: It depends on what you mean by “authorized”. If you are talking about receiving the go-ahead from Dangote as a person, we don't need that. No one wants to read any book about Dangote that is commissioned by him or his henchmen, that is not the mission of the biography but if you say “authoritative,” then this is authoritative biography. Aliko Dangote may not like some of the things in the book, but that is his problem but we have authoritatively researched him and have succeeded in presenting him as he is (interjection by Dr Margie Marie Neal, the co-author)

MARGIE MARIE NEAL: We were in Nigeria for 14 months to conduct research on this book and here in America, when you are writing a biography about public people and great personalities-of which Mr. Dangote is one-you want to give your readers as much information as possible and also present a balanced picture of your subject and that was what we did in this book. For your information, I had never been to Nigeria before in my life and this book which took me to Kano, Abuja, Lagos, Kaduna, Jos and Bayelsa , the president's home town was an eye opener for me as an American. As we told Mr. Joseph Makoju, Mr. Oladeinde Brown and others working for Mr. Dangote in Nigeria, we don't need any authorization to write the book. That would compromise our objectivity and so like Dr Moshood said, it is not an “authorized” biography, but an “” authoritative” biography of Mr. Dangote. Of course, we chose Mr. Dangote because he is the richest black person in the world.

QUESTION-What was it like finding a publisher?
MOSHOOD: Do you know this is my fifth book in the United States? The Dangote book is my second co-authored book so getting a publisher for this book was easy. As a matter of fact, we had to reject some agents and publicists from some publishing companies who wanted the contract after they went through our initial manuscript. We have signed contracts with a European publishing outfit to take care of the European book market, in other words, we have the North American edition and European edition, and last week, a publishing company in far-away Hong Kong approached us for proprietary rights. Similarly, we are currently negotiating with a publishing company in South Africa to take care of the South African market. In Germany, a business partner is currently translating the book into German Language and we are translating the book into Hausa, French, Arabic, Spanish, Russian and Swahili Languages.

MARGIE MARIE NEAL: What do you mean by finding publishers? We are Americans. This is not Nigeria where ideas are either shut down or censored. This is the type of books Americans want to read, are you kidding me? God bless America! This is the land of open discourse; no body shuts people down because they don't like what is written about some people. Do you know how many books have been written about our president since 2008 and most of the books are critical of President Obama, but you know what; People read all the books whether complimentary or otherwise about the US president. You don't have that culture in Nigeria. Don't get wrong, I met a lot of nice and friendly people in Nigeria during our field work for this book but you can't do business with a lot of Nigerians. Many of them are like the willow tree that goes here and there with the wind. Many Nigerians cannot be trusted; there is a dearth of integrity and honesty in that country; at least going by the people I met.

Ambassador N.N. Akanbi hands over documents of NAN-NL to Chief Oliver Nwankwo, the new President of the Association

According to reports from the Nigerian Voice, History was made in The Netherlands recently when a free and fair election was conducted and newly elected officers were inaugurated by Her Excellency, Dr. (Mrs) N.N. Akanbi, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to The Netherlands.

It has been a long journey since the inception of Her Excellency over four years ago to assist Nigerians in the Netherlands to establish a credible association to represent Nigerians living in the Netherlands.

Her view is that many of the issues and subjects expected to be solved by the Nigerian Embassy could be channel through their own leadership at the Association so that the Embassy can concentrate on its key task of building strong diplomatic and economic ties with the Netherlands.

According to Ambassador Akanbi; the Netherlands is a strong business interest for the growth and development of Nigeria and there is good business cooperation since her resumption here. “My task as Nigeria Ambassador with the mandate of his Excellency, President Goodluck Jonathan is to ensure that the Dutch are adequately informed of business opportunities in Nigeria, attract them into coming to do business in Nigeria and create the right visit environment for them”. So far Her Excellency has done that with pride and dignity.

On the new association called NIGERIAN NATIONAL ASSOCIATION (NNA-NL). The Association is an umbrella association, made up of all legally registered Nigerian Associations in The Netherlands. This is the first of its kind in the history of Nigerians in the Netherlands. It is the brain-child of Her Excellency, as she thought it worthy that there should be a Nigerian Association so that Nigerians can speak with one voice.

In order to actualize this noble objective, the Steering Committee of the NNA was set up under the leadership of Chief Oliver Nwankwo and Pastor Larry Omodia as Secretary. With other Nigerians, they drafted a constitution, seek wider opinion on it and finally had it adopted and launched during the 51st Independence Anniversary of Nigeria. Monthly meetings were then held, and at the meeting of March, 2012, an Electoral Committee was set up with the mandate to conduct elections on the 21st of April, 2012 for an executive body.

The Electoral Committee had the following members; Mazi T. S. Aguzien as Chairman, Engr. Steve Ajere, Nze Austin Nnawuihe, Mr. Jude Chukwu (Representing the Nigerian Embassy) and Hajiya Hajara Ozohu Yusuf as Secretary. The Committee took this job seriously and set about the work by encouraging Nigerian associations to register with the sum of €50. An Electoral Registration form was designed which was sent out for those who were interested in elective positions in the new association.

The criteria set up for candidates standing for elective posts were as follows:

1. Filling the Registration form and have it signed by the Chairman of his/her Association.
2. Possess an Uittreksel - (a proof document from the municipality of residence)
3. The Chamber of commerce registration letter of their Association (kvk).
4. Photocopy of their Nigerian passport/resident permit
5. Passport photograph (1)
6. Candidates for the posts of President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer needed in addition to the above, a no criminal letter from the Ministry of Justice (IND).

NEW COUPLE ALERT? Rocsi & Eddie Murphy

Eddie Murphy & Rocsi Diaz
When Rocsi was asked if she was dating Eddie she replied. ' we are not dating, we were just getting coffee'.
OK! we'll just have to wait and watch this unfold.

The 51-year-old Tower Heist actor and the 106 & Park host were spotted holding hands while leaving a coffee shop in California. Both famous faces were dressed relatively casually; Eddie rocked a red Adidas tracksuit and Rocsi wore a denim jacket and green pants.

Much to our surprise, Eddie and Rocsi were all smiles and seemed to be quite the couple. Rocsi was previously linked to Raphael Saadiq, but judging by these new photos, those two are long over.

Rocsi retweeted a quote from one of her friends, which seemed to express her happiness.
"When you follow the things that bring u bliss, Life has a way of placing doors where there used to be walls :)"

According to rumors, Rocsi has caught the acting bug and is writing a few screenplays on top of that. Maybe Eddie can help with her new career aspirations?

What do you think of Rocsi and Eddie Murphy dating?!

The real reason why Ray J is in the Hospital

Ray J
US singer-actor Ray J collapsed right after the Billboard Music Awards ended yesterday morning Monday, May 22, 2012 and was rushed to the hospital.

TMZ reports that the 31-year-old was ‘extremely upset’ after the family of his late girlfriend, Whitney Houston
confronted him during the ceremony.

‘On Monday morning, someone went into Ray J’s hotel room and realized the singer was “out of it” and couldn’t get out of bed’.

Reports also say the family might have just triggered what Ray J has long coming – a case of exhaustion and dehydration as he had just returned from a quick, 32-hour round trip to China for business and a 4-hour drive to Las Vegas for the show.

Ray J is still in the hospital with no sign of being released.

CANCER KILLER – Natural Cancer Cell Killer 10,000 Times Stronger Than Chemo!

The Sour Sop or the fruit from the graviola tree is a miraculous natural cancer cell killer 10,000 times stronger than Chemo.

Why are we not aware of this? Its because some big corporation want to make back their money spent on years of research by trying to make a synthetic version of it for sale.

So, since you know it now you can help a friend in need by letting him know or just drink some sour sop juice yourself as prevention from time to time. The taste is not bad after all. It’s completely natural and definitely has no side effects. If you have the space, plant one in your garden.
The other parts of the tree are also useful.

The next time you have a fruit juice, ask for a sour sop.

How many people died in vain while this billion-dollar drug maker concealed the secret of the miraculous Graviola tree?

This tree is low and is called graviola ! in Brazi l, guanabana in Spanish and has the uninspiring name “soursop” in English. The fruit is very large and the subacid sweet white pulp is eaten out of hand or, more commonly, used to make fruit drinks, sherbets and such.

The principal interest in this plant is because of its strong anti-cancer effects. Although it is effective for a number of medical conditions, it is its anti tumor effect that is of most interest. This plant is a proven cancer remedy for cancers of all types.

Besides being a cancer remedy, graviola is a broad spectrum antimicrobial agent for both bacterial and fungal infections, is effective against internal parasites and worms, lowers high blood pressure and is used for depression, stress and nervous disorders.

If there ever was a single example that makes it dramatically clear why the existence of Health Sciences Institute is so vital to Americans like you, it’s the incredible story behind the Graviola tree..

The truth is stunningly simple: Deep within the Amazon Rainforest grows a tree that could literally revolutionize what you, your doctor, and the rest of the world thinks about cancer treatment and chances of survival. The future has never looked more promising.

Research shows that with extracts from this miraculous tree it now may be possible to:
* Attack cancer safely and effectively with an all-natural therapy that does not cause extreme nausea, weight loss and hair loss
* Protect your immune system and avoid deadly infections
* Feel stronger and healthier throughout the course of the treatment
* Boost your energy and improve your outlook on life

Nigeria’s president, Goodluck Jonathan, has been featured in the Vogue L’uomo section of the May/June 2012 edition of Vogue Italia.

The feature details the interview which the magazine’s editor Franca Souzani had with the President, the Vice-President Namadi Sambo, as well as the Ministers of Petroleum and Culture and Tourism.

During their chat, Jonathan revealed plans to revive the textile industry, set up an African luxury shopping area similar to California’s Rodeo drive in Lagos or Abuja, along with fashion weeks of repute, such as Mercedes Fashion week in the U.K.

The streets everything is calm and there is no confusion, and Abuja is beautiful with lots of greenery and imposing houses hidden behind high walls.

Half Nude Ladies Snatch Euro Trophy

Activists of Ukrainian women's movement FEMEN attack an EURO 2012 tournament trophy during its display in Ukrainian city of Dnipropetrovsk on 21 May, 2012. Along with tournament co-hosts Poland and Ukraine, European football's governing body UEFA has organised a five-week trophy tour in cities across the two countries.

It is a trophy which football fans up and down the country hope to see raised by English players come the end of this summer’s European Championships.

But at an event in Ukraine Monday, a quite different group managed to get their hands on the prestigious Euro 2012 trophy. Topless activists from a Ukrainian women’s rights group staged a second attack on the cup by grabbing it while it was on public display in the southeast of the country, which is jointly hosting the tournament with Poland. Inna Shevchenko, 21, an activist in the Femen group, peeled off her top, revealing the words ‘F**k Euro 2012’ on her torso.

She then grabbed hold of the 60cm-high cup while it was being exhibited in a central square in Dnipropetrovsk, according to a video clip released by Femen.

As security guards moved in on her, another activist, standing next to the cup, stripped off to the waist to display the same slogan. Femen organisers said the second activist was a 46-year-old French journalist from a French women’s magazine.

‘She also supports our struggle against sexism and prostitution and decided to take part,’ said Femen spokeswoman Anna Hutsol. Both women were detained by police. The Kiev-based Femen is focusing its topless protests for women’s rights on next month’s Euro 2012 soccer tournament.

Femen says Euro 2012, which will run in Ukraine from June 9 to July 1, will lead to a surge in prostitution in the former Soviet republic and entrench the country as a sex tourist destination in Europe.

It is threatening to carry out a blitz of stunts against the tournament. Another Femen activist staged a similar protest in Kiev earlier this month, seizing hold of the same cup while it was on public display in the capital.

The 8 kg Henri Delaunay cup is on a tour of Ukraine so Ukrainians can have souvenir photographs taken of themselves alongside it.

497 Abandoned Babies Rescued in Lagos

•Abandoned children in an orphanage having their meal.
Abandoned children eating in an orphanage.

At least, 497 abandoned babies have been rescued from various streets in Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, in the last one year by officials of the Lagos State Government.

Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth and Social Development, Dr. Dolapo Badru disclosed this Tuesday at a ministerial press conference in Lagos.

He said the babies were rescued after their mothers abandoned them as they did not want the children, adding that the babies were taken to various government homes and private orphanages.

With this large number of rescued babies, the rate at which mothers dumped their new born babies has increased in Lagos State.

On adoption and fostering service, Badru said “adoption is a process of establishing legal parentage of a child in need of permanent home in a loving environment. The child might have been abandoned, or an orphan in need of a permanent home.

“Suitable persons by legal means acquire parental claim over certain categories of children with/without blood relationship. It could either be local, international or relative adoption; while fostering is the placement of children in need of care or protection in the hands of fit persons by means of a fostering order,” he explained.

“This office also registers and monitors the activities of orphanage homes and related non governmental organisations (NGOs). From June 2011 to date, 753 applications were received from prospective adopters out of which 709 were local and 24 international. Seven applications were received for relative while 9 were received for fostering.

“Prospective adopters were screened in order to determine their suitability for adopting children while 82 children were released for adoption and 85 were legalized through juvenile courts. 308 letters of approval were granted,” he stated.
